I know, I know, it's just a candle. But it is a candle that my son, Sammy, made in preschool when he was 2. This morning, three and 1/4 years later, was the first time it has been used. I am so enamored by the things that my children can create. This particular item was made for Mother's Day. Little did I know that this child in three more years would be my forever child and that I would be receiving Mother's Day gifts from him for the rest of my life. But I digress. I was talking about candles.
I am so spoiled by electricity. The power went out at 4 a.m. for about an hour (50 minutes to be exact) and I could not sleep. As soon as the power went out, I knew it. My white noise (the fan) was off and I was done. I am surprised that the boys did not wake up because their white noise (also a fan) went off and their precious night lights also; which surprisingly they were fine without having while they slept in cribs but instantly needed when they started sleeping in "big boy" beds. I guess their cribs made them feel very secure as opposed to the BIG SCARY "big boy" toddler beds!
Oh well, anyways, I will be going around today and finding out what kind of batteries go in my alarm clock and filling it with said batteries this afternoon while the boys are in school. Oh, and also, buy more sconces for the walls! LOL! Thank goodness I had my trusty flashlight right beside my bed in my bedside basket! So I was somewhat prepared!
This is Tonya, signing off. I really shouldn't blog so early in the morning! I am not sure I am not mindlessly rambling. LOL!
